I-95 Lanes Shut Down Due To Bus Fire In Virginia (Developing)

Some lanes on I-95 were blocked in advance of the afternoon commute on Tuesday when a truck fire broke out.

Northbound lanes of the interstate in Prince William County were closed as of 4:30 p.m. on March 4 in the area of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge.

The vehicle was fully engulfed as crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear the scene to allow traffic to begin moving in the area.

According to the Virginia DOT, all north lanes were closed near mile marker 155.7 and traffic was backed up approximately two miles as of 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday.
